The symposium seeks to address the need for -and the development of- a comprehensive art curriculum, allowing students better learning through the visual arts.

The conference will also be looking at the commercial aspect of art in Belize; breeding a more art-conscious society through education with the intention of creating a bigger market of local artists, art dealers and buyers.

Presentations by the panelists will be followed by Question & Answer sessions. The goal of the symposium is to formulate a plan of action addressing the concerns.
