These award-winning films star an impressive cast of well-known actors and actresses and testify to the commonly shared American values of freedom, perseverance, and justice. For that reason, the Embassy is pleased to present this series free of charge to the general public.

Lean on Me Monday, October 20 at 1:00 p.m. (School Matinee)
Lean on Me is the true story of high school principal Joe Clark (Morgan Freeman), who armed himself with a bullhorn and Louisville Slugger and slammed the door on losers at Eastside High in Paterson, New Jersey. Brought in to save the school, he chained the doors to keep troublemakers out and strivers in. Some parents and teachers fought him, but many students loved him. He turned the school around and his achievement became a national triumph.

Twelve Angry Men Tuesday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m.
