This Week at the Centre...

OLG SUMMER MUSICAL PROGRAMME - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13 at 7.00 p.m:
The students of Our Lady of Guadalupe are preparing to dazzle you with their Summer Musical Programme which will include music, singing and drama. It will truly be a family affair so teacher Bonnie Adolphus and the students are inviting the community at large to come out. Tickets are $10 .00 for adults and $5.00 for children primary school age.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Lizarraga family whose daughter who is presently undergoing treatment for leukemia.

FILM CLUB: "10 ITEMS OR LESS" - THURSDAY, JUNE 14 at 7.00 p.m.
In "10 Items or Less" an actor (Morgan Freeman) happens to end up in a to a shabby supermarket far from his home in Brentwood, California. There he meets Scarlet (Paz Vega), who channels her frustration into her work at the express checkout line. Through a series of unexpected events, they spend most of the day together. The movie is a lovely antidote to the bloated, self-important movies that tend to dominate Hollywood. This is a picture with nothing to prove, and not all that much to say, but its modesty and good humor make it hard to resist. Written and directed by Brad Silberling.
