It's the perfect rainy day for our children's movie matinee ! Today, Wednesday, July 11 starting at 1.30 p.m.

Children and adults alike will love this movie featuring Akeelah Anderson, whose love for words leads her to enter a number of spelling contests. Tutored by many and opposed by some, Akeelah unwittingly unites an entire neighbourhood in her quest to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee! This movie is truly a very powerful, positive and inspirational account of the power of words.
