The Centre’s Volunteer Programme is open to all individuals interested in investing some of their time and/or expertise to the development of the Centre.
*** NEW OPPORTUNITY ***
The George Price Centre for Peace and Development houses an IT Training Centre (ITTC) with 25 computers. The ITTC was donated by the Republic of China (Taiwan) and has been used over the years for IT training and as a general research centre for students. To maximize the impact of this great resource in Belmopan, the Centre is considering the opening of a Homework Drop-in Centre at the ITTC from Mondays through Thursday – 3.30 to 5.30 p.m. This however cannot be accomplished without the help of volunteers to supervise the use of computers and to assist students where needed. The larger the number of committed volunteers, the lighter the work! If you are interested to help, give us a call at 822-1054.
Students as well as professionals are invited to assist in any of our activities and programmes:
- Data-entry for the Archival Collection and Library
- Upgrade and maintenance of the IT Training Centre
- Organization of cultural activities, setting up of exhibits, and more…
Be part of this historic and exiting development in the Capital City. Kindly e-mail your contact details to email@example.com or call us at 822-1054 to join the Centre’s Team!
